MAP experienced a banner year, achieving most goals and experiencing the best financial performance in our history.

  • We engaged in several significant community projects including a consulting role in Generation Next, fiscal sponsorship of OTA+Pollen, facilitation of the Impact Initiative with the Minnesota Coalition for Battered Women and Redesign work with four area Community Assistance Programs in Southwestern Minnesota. We engaged in two major projects outside of Minnesota with the Support Center of New York and Easter Seals of New Jersey.
  • We updated and refreshed our logo.
  • Our strategic services team led 81 projects with organizations that moved the organizations forward on their strategic journeys, including 23 projects focused on strategic development, 39 on realignment, 12 on financial sustainability  and 7 on organizational development.
  • We completed three technology for innovation pilots with 10 participating organizations.
  • Continuing our focus on building the strength of leaders and board members, we reached 201 leaders including 119 in Leaders Circles, 40 in High Impact Leadership Training and 42 in Board Chair training. An additional 1200 people participated in our scheduled Board Boot Camps.
  • MAP provided the keynote presentation and breakout sessions on realignment for a statewide event in New Jersey hosted by the Support Center of New York City. In addition, Easter Seals New Jersey contracted with MAP to take its senior leadership team through a three-day training on realignment.
  • MAP’s technology team landed key speaking roles in the national technology conference for nonprofits (NTEN).
  • We launched a new website, designed for ease of use and simplicity.

  • Our essentials team strengthened the foundation of nonprofit organizations through 516 projects – 196 legal consultations; 73 technology projects and 247 accounting and finance projects.
  • We worked with the Minnesota Battered Women’s Coalition and participants from across the domestic violence abuse field using the Impact Initiative Model to identify ways the field can best use its dwindling resources to maximize impact.
  • We participated in GenNext – a “collective impact” initiative designed to dramatically accelerate educational achievement of all children through an aligned partnership of community stakeholders.
  • MAP engaged in a fiscal sponsorship role with the newly launched OTA+Pollen network.
  • We participated in a national cohort evaluation project that can drive continuous improvements in our services and outcomes.
  • Our new sales process proved successful in responding promptly to service inquiries and eliminating bottlenecks in processes.
  • We co-sponsored the Minnesota Nonprofit Excellence and Mission awards with the Minnesota Council of Nonprofits.
